How do I purchase a system?

Contact us to be given the contact details of your local distributor, or you can buy direct from the factory. We can send you a Customer Installation Data Sheet and order form via e-mail, fax or post.

How much will the system cost?

Each system is designed for specific functions, and thereforethe prices can vary from unit to unit.Installation costs may also vary depending on your home’s location. The installation costs of the tank and land application area are site specific and you should negotiate these with your local Aqua Clarus distributor.

How can I pay?

We can accept payment by direct deposit, credit card, cheque, money order or cash.

When will my system be delivered?

We can deliver your system within four to six weeks of receiving your deposit.

Can I install the system myself?

No. An Aqua Clarus accredited plumber (or your licensed plumber under the supervision of an Aqua Clarus representative) must install your system.

Do I need to change any of the plumbing in my house?

The Super Natural requires standard plumbing from the house. However, should you require recycled water for toilet flushing, then the recycled return line will have to be installed in the house.

How much electricity does the system use?

Depending upon the syatem you choose, the very low usage will vary from between 1.4 to 1.9 kWhr/day.

What are the power connection requirements?

Your licensed electrician will need to run a 240-volt power supply to the system and hardwire it to the junction box on the side of the tank.

Where will the in ground system be located and how far from the house?

On a flat block of land, the system can be up to six metres away from the house without requiring a riser ring on the tank. If you have a high set house, the system can be located under your house provided there is enough access and head height. Your local Aqua Clarus representative or licensed plumber can help you choose the best possible location for your site.

Can the “Super Natural” be on the topside of the house (up hill)?

No. The plumbing code dictates that a 1:60 must be maintained from the outlet at the house to any treatment system.

Can the land application area be on the topside of the house (up hill)?

Yes. As the treated water is pumped having the land application area up hill from the house is not a problem. You may require a pump and additional pump if the land application area is some distance away, or if the site is very steep.

Can I gravity drain the system to the land application area?
No.

Can I use the treated water from the Super Natural for irrigation above the ground?

Yes, however different councils have individual requirements particularly in environmentally sensitive areas and it would be wise to check with them.

Do I require council or local authority approval to install the system?

Yes. Unless you have Council approval, your warranty will be void and your local council or authority may take action against you.

Do I need to have a site assessment by a geotechnical engineer?

Most local authorities require a site assessment and others do not. If your local authority requires a site assessment, we can recommend suitably qualified personnel.

Who will put in my application to the local authority?

For a small fee, an Aqua Clarus representative can complete and lodge this for you, or you can ask your licensed plumber to lodge it based on the information provided by Aqua Clarus.

What type of plant will I put in my ‘Vegetation Cell’?

Aqua Clarus can provide you with a list of suitable plants when you place your order.

Do I need to have the system serviced and how much does it cost?

All onsite waste water treatment systems need to be covered by a current service agreement.  A signed service agreement will necessary before we can commission your system. The system will require servicing either once or twice per year depending on your chosen system..
