Total Wastewater Treatment
Our Total Wastewater systems treat all wastewater from domestic homes with up to 10 people.
The domestic wastewater flows into the system where the solids are separated from the bulk of the liquid. The solids are treated in a separate chamber using natural processes while the liquid is pumped to an underground irrigation trench where it assists in returning nutrients to the soil.
The Grey water is collected separately and after treatment flows to a membrane cartridge through a feed tank where it is filtered through a membrane. The liquid is then disinfected by ultraviolet light before flowing to a water storage tank where it can be recycled back to the house for toilet flushing and clothes washing.
